How to prove your immigration status with a share code

You can generate a share code at gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status. The code is valid for 90 days and can be used to prove your right to work, rent, or access services. Employers and landlords must accept it.

What should you do?

Check your UKVI account at gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status. Make sure your details are up to date and your eVisa is linked to your current passport.
